Romantic things to do for a Las Vegas wedding or honeymoon

Dining: Mon Ami Gabi Average price per dish $25

Located directly across from the Bellagio on the Las Vegas strip, Mon Ami Gabi is the perfect spot for a romantic dinner while you enjoy the Bellagio water show. Also a great idea for your wedding reception as they have 2 private rooms that seat up to 40 guests as well as being able to buyout the entire Patio for yourself. Mon Ami Gabi is a French bistro that is always updating their menu with authentic french cuisine. For the sommelier inside all of us they boast an extensive menu of over 80 french wines. My favorite starters is the Onion soup au gratin (literally the best french onion soup I have ever had) and then for the entree, the steak bordelaise with caramelized onions and red wine sauce. You can find Mon Ami Gabi inside the Paris Resort and Casino on the Las Vegas strip.

Dining: Lakeside  Average price per dish $45

Inside the Wynn you will find one of the best seafood restaurants in Las Vegas. In fact, its regarded as one of the best restaurants in the world for its variety of seafood from around the globe. The real catch to this restaurant is the beautiful view of the Lake of Dreams. Its a 3 acre lake surrounded by forest. The enchanting vibe will make you forget you are in the middle of a bustling city, but more like in the middle of a fairy tale. On top of the beautiful scenery, they also offer a great light show to go with it. If you are not familiar with the Wynn just know this; Everything here is a 12 out of 10. Really, you could pick any restaurant there and be knocked off your feet. This one in particular just adds a perfect touch of romance to your Las Vegas wedding.

Things to see: Bellagio gardens and art  Garden and Fiori Di Como free/ gallery $38

One of the most romantic things to do after your wedding is to take a walk into Bellagio’s Botanical Garden. Even if you have seen it before. Every season 140 expert horticulturist arrange rare flowers, plants and trees over ponds bridges and gazebos to match the seasons. During april you might see a giant easter bunny made out of the most beautiful vibrant flowers or a polar bear in the winter made out of 18000 white carnations. After the epicly romantic walk in the garden you can then walk into the Bellagios lobby Fiori di Como. Designed by Dale Chihuly, the lobby ceiling is overflowing with 2,000 hand blown blossoms. It is made up of some of the most amazing glass sculptures you will ever see. Dales work has been exhibited in every major museum around the globe. Bellagio also offers an art gallery with variety. The exhibits change periodically so check the website if you love art. The admission is $38. You can also dine at several restaurants and be surrounded by original pieces of Picasso’s artwork. If you can appreciate the many expressions of art, the Bellagio is the best spot in vegas to take in the beauty of original masterpieces.

Thing to see: Gondola rides Venetian $79.80 / Monte Lago $135-$399

There are two different places I will recommend for the Gondolas. We will stick with the more vegas style one first. At the Venetian you can get a private gondola ride that will make you feel like you are in Venice. The gondolier navigating your gondola by street cafes serenades you as you pass float under balconies and bridges. Venetian also offers great wedding packages with the gondola rides. Gentlemen, this will score you some points with your bride. The second gondola option is a more intimate choice for those who wish to make a romantic evening floating in the water front of the Monte Lago in Lake Las Vegas with the city lights in the distance. Sunset is the perfect time to embark on your evening of romance. The lake is very still and looks like a mirror reflecting the sunset and gorgeous surroundings of Lake Las Vegas. With your cruise you will have the option of appetizers or a full gourmet dinner. The Gondolier port at the golf club (giving you a private moment wink wink) and come back with your dinner and champagne. Monte Lago is also a great place to host your Las Vegas wedding. This is one of my personal favorites!

Show: Zumanity ticket $69-$125

There are an abundance of Cirque shows in Las Vegas but only one is the perfect show for newly wed lovers. “The sensual side of Cirque Du Soleil”. This will be the perfect way to get you and your special someone in the mood. This 18 and over show is located in the New York New York. Unlike the normal repertoire of the colorful and genius circus acts we can expect from Cirque, Zumanity throws a sensual flare to it. With acts like the two beautiful contortionists, swimming in a giant fish bowl, topless caressing each other, to the intimate acrobatic hand balancing duet and ending with the all the performers getting on the revolving stage for the orgy finale. This show is sure to spice up your Las Vegas wedding in sin city and with the duo sofa seating they offer you can get very “comfortable” with each other.

Show: La Reve ticket $105-$195

You will find La Reve at the Wynn Las Vegas. This show will captivate you with the acrobats flying through the air diving into the aquatic stage to and under water tango. The choreography, vibrant colors and fire will keep your eyes glued to the stage and performers. La Reve has won best show 4 years in a row. If you want to make this a romantic evening for your bride, you have the VIP indulgence package where you get a more private duo seating with complimentary truffles, chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne. You also get a different vantage point with the behind the scenes and underwater video monitor you can watch at the same time. Your eyes will keep bouncing back and forth as they are both equally entertaining and amazing.

Attraction: High Roller tickets $25-$55

Do you want to see all of Las Vegas in 30 minutes? Las Vegas is now the home of the Guinness Book of World Records holder the High Roller for the tallest observation wheel in the world. This Titan towers at 550 feet giving you a unique view of the strip and entire Las Vegas Valley. At night you will look down at the sea of blinking lights we call the Las Vegas strip. This is the perfect spot to take amazing photos while you are level with the flashing names of the casinos right over your shoulder. During the day you can look beyond the horizon and see some of the more natural beauty Las Vegas has to offer. To the west Red Rocks fiery mountains will stand out like a sore thumb. Turn around and you will see Mt. Charleston snow capped peaks. The wheel takes 30 minutes to make a full revolution so you have plenty of time to enjoy the view from a comfortable air conditioned cabin.

Sin City isn’t just about gambling, clubs and all the things you wouldn’t dare do at home.  Las Vegas is also the home to some of the most magical and romantic attractions, sites and restaurants in the world, making it a perfect place to come for your wedding or honeymoon.
